The Annual Abraham Lincoln Association Banquet & Symposium
The Abraham Lincoln Association hosts an annual symposium and banquet on February 11-12 (Feb. 12 being Lincoln's birthday). Located in Springfield, IL - the Prairie State's capital city, often called the Land of Lincoln - the ALA symposium and banquet are prestigious events attended by presidents, senators, historians, and other persons of note. These events all take place amid a city of immense cultural wealth: between events one may take advantage of Lincoln's home, law office, the Old & current State Capitols, the A.L. Presidential Library & Museum, among other sites. The ALA may consider inviting an interested student to be an honorable guest at these events. Please contact the Allen C. Guelzo Chair of History if you are interested.
