Nominating Alumni
About the Hall of Honor
The James Klotter Chapter Alumni Hall of Honor recognizes outstanding JKC members who graduated in good standing with the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society. Alumni are selected for the Hall of Honor on a rolling, year-round basis. In order to qualify, alumni must have made a significant contribution to Rho Kappa, academia, society, humanity, their field, or have done something else of great note. Though some alumni will be selected without solicitation, the Alumni Welcome Center encourages nominations. Selection is based on extensive review of the contributions & character of alumni, and will proceed to a vote if a recommendation of the alumnus/alumna is made by Legacy Chair to a selection committee.

How to Nominate AlumniIf you wish to nominate an alumnus/alumna, use the form to the left.
In case the person you are nominating hasn't been in touch with us lately, we ask that you provide any alumnus/alumna contact info that you have. We also ask for your contact information so that we can ask for clarification or more info if necessary, and inform you of whether your nomination has been approved or declined. In the, "Reason for Nomination" box, please elaborate on why you feel that this alumnus/alumna deserves a place in the Hall of Honor. Give specific reasons -- please refrain from broad statements such as, "She's a good person" or, "He's very successful." The more specific information that you provide about what he/she has done that's noteworthy, the better we can assess his/her chances. Thank you! |
